VietPro (Vietnamese professionals in the UK) was established following the merger of two Vietnamese Facebook groups with a combined membership of around 650. The group was launched in the presence of representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy and high-profile business leaders on 23 Jan 2010 in London.

Our mission is to become a hub for professional networking and career opportunities. With an increasing number of talented Vietnamese who graduate from UK universities and subsequently work in various professions both in the UK and in Vietnam, we believe VietPro is a fast-growing community that is diverse and ambitious.

Jan 2012 - VietPro was awarded the “Certificate of significant contribution to Vietnamese in the UK” by the Vietnamese Embassy.

Oct 2011 - Prospects, VietPro's flagship career workshop was held in three UK cities (London, Birmingham and Nottingham), an attempt to bring useful advice to a wider audience.

June 2011 - The Skills Building series was launched  with a session with Ms. Tran Bich Nga, Director of TalkVn Training programme

May 3011 - The "In conversation with..." series was launched with a the first guest speaker: Lord Browne, the former CEO of British Petroleum (BP)

Dec 2010 - VietPro organised Student Investment Challenge, the first virtual trading tournament for Vietnamese students in the UK.

Mar 3010 - The first Prospects career workshop took place in London, catering exclusively to Vietnamese students.
